Our journey with Manyata has been transformative – from chaos to order.

Ever since the training, my staff has been extremely efficient in their daily practices. Our protocols and medical processes have become more streamlined. Each patient's details, whether it be test reports or records of vitals, are gathered and properly documented throughout their visit.
 
During deliveries, the labour room is always adequately prepped in advance, the kits are kept ready at hand, and all steps are taken to prevent infection, ensuring smooth functioning. In case of emergencies, I am confident that everyone present in the room is fully capable of handling the situation, which also makes my work easier.

The training and the curriculum have been so interesting, that going through the sessions during late hours would also not deter the spirit of my staff. The experience really broadened their knowledge and the kind of questions that were asked during the training really amazed me.
 
One of the best outcomes of this program is that it builds camaraderie among teams, which was previously lacking in our staff. The training has brought a sense of optimism in the caregivers. Seeing them work so hard towards the program was the best feeling ever.

When we initiated the Manyata training for our nursing staff of 70 members, a handful of them joined the first session. But the initial feedback from them compelled every member in our hospital to join the training. Every member, including the nursing staff, lab technicians, and even the receptionist who does not have a medical background attended the training. 
 
And at the end of the exercise, each member was brimming with knowledge, and extremely enthusiastic and optimistic about what they learned.
 
Manyata training has hugely contributed to the capacity building of caregivers, making sure that they are attending to the needs of each patient.

The Manyata training has made the nurses in our facility more active and involved. Their curriculum, the modules, and the way they conduct the Quality Improvement training has surpassed my expectations. 
 
Our nurses have prepared several trays/boxes that have been extremely beneficial to our facility. The process entails detailed assessments, where the facility is assessed in accordance with the standards similar to those of NABH. I believe that all OBGYN facilities should register and get their teams to undergo the training.

There is a noticeable difference in the way my nurses have been diagnosing and documenting the cases. Initially, assessing a partograph used to always be a doctor’s job. I was always reaching out to my nurses to ensure that it was duly attached, or at times, would end up making it on my own. 
 
It fills my heart with pride to see our nurses attach partographs to every case file and be well-versed with the document. The training has helped the nurses expand their knowledge and become more organised in managing the records. Whether it’s analysing and diagnosing patient cases or ensuring that documentation is in order, our nurses are doing it all.

I had a good experience during the entire process of my delivery. The doctors and nurses were very encouraging and supported me and my husband throughout the delivery. They had all the information that was required for a safe delivery and handled me with extreme care. They also spoke to me very politely. They supported me mentally as well and told me not to worry if there were any complications. The hospital was very clean. The nurses, doctors and the support staff knew what they were doing and treated me with care and responsibility.

The Manyata-trained nurses in our institution feel greatly encouraged, more confident and enthusiastic to work in the labour ward after their training.

Ours was the first health facility in Punjab to undergo the Manyata training and I feel deeply honoured to receive the Manyata Champion (Punjab) Award 2021.

For a hospital like ours, which already had protocols in place, Manyata gave us the opportunity to not only re-emphasize those protocols but also to be more organized than we were before and helped us to introspect better.
 
The infection control part which I attended was very interesting especially since we are a COVID hospital. It was like brushing up our knowledge again. Overall, it definitely has been a fulfilling journey for our nursing staff. I request many more hospitals to come forward and join this initiative. 

It has been a proud achievement that many facilities in Haryana are availing this opportunity and I have the privilege to be a faculty in this program. As Chairperson of Practical Obstetrics Committee FOGSI, getting Manyata Accreditation for my own Facility was very important. Manyata training has been designed with utmost care to ensure that the staff, whatever be their previous experience and practice, come to understand and be motivated to be at par with the best practices. The journey of training by Manyata was very satisfying for the staff. 

From no understanding of the technical terms and no prior knowledge on how to conduct normal delivery and manage PPH to successfully implementing infection prevention practices, Manyata trainings have brought about a very significant change in our staff, who have become far more confident and accountable.  What further elevates my joy is how Manyata is creating a benchmark for private facilities offering quality maternal care.

The program has immensely benefitted my staff who are now far more confident in handling difficult and tricky situations. The way of approaching the patients has also drastically improved which has resulted in us receiving a lot of positive feedback.

A special shout out to our trainer, whose constant guidance and encouragement has helped my staff and me successfully complete the whole process and also helped us to confidently face the assessment.

Manyata helped us change our outlook towards our patients, the type of care to be given and most importantly the method needed for the care.

Teaching of standard clinical protocols for all doctors and nursing staff from textbooks was a difficult task due to busy practices which resulted in declining clinical protocols. Manyata was god sent as it offered regular teaching of staff with easy and uniform clinical protocols.

My staff was also very motivated to learn this guided method.  With the Manyata accreditation, all the clinical and nursing staff are now far more aware of the uniform practices.

I recognized the importance of receiving the care I needed for a healthy pregnancy, with my doctor’s support.

Through the doctor and nurse’s consistent counselling, I felt motivated to take all necessary vaccines, improve my nutritional intake, maintain my weight and other health indicators.

Manyata trainings have been instrumental in enabling my team to follow best practices for patient case management. The case management sheets are filled in timely manner with detailed inputs on patient’s medical history. The facility staff has improved their patient documentation, established accountability and strengthened service delivery. This has helped in a stronger risk mitigation approach for our facility, building the confidence of my team, particularly in cases of emergencies.

The self- hygiene practices taught during the LaQshya- Manyata trainings have made our staff realise the serious implications of infections.This understanding among them has proven to be extremely beneficial, particularly now when the country is fighting against COVID-19.

The trainings gave the staff clarity on how infections spread and what precautions they should take to prevent it. Now, I don't need to keep a check whether they are wearing their mask and gloves, or if they are frequently sanitizing their hands, and are disinfecting the premises - they are doing all of that conscientiously.

Through Manyata training, my nurses have developed the habit of maintaining case sheets, checklists, registers, and partographs. All of this has helped me considerably in putting together the documents necessary for my records and legal compliance.

Manyata has evidently broadened the nurses' knowledge base, which is reflecting in the way they treat their patients. They are involved during patient briefing and they give me suggestions for possible diagnosis. I am simply awed to see them so involved, enthusiastic and confident.
